What better gifts to pair with Wasserman Projects' Fall 2022 exhibition, Ancient Entanglements, than a Venus of Willendorf candle! New York based artist, Sanford Biggers, produced a body of new work of CNC milled Maple sculptures, in collaboration with Boston based artists, Brandon Clifford and Jo Lobdell of Matter Design. Of those works, a very special piece was produced here at the University of Michigan, called Nesting Venus, of a Venus De Milo figured literally nestled within that of a Venus of Willendorf.
