Milah Renee Wallace is a Detroit-born interdisciplinary artist, writer, painter, filmmaker whose work runs at the intersection of architecture, narrative, and public life. Her practice explores how well space, memory, and language can function as vessels for collective care, spirituality, and everyday ritual.
After more than a decade working across visual art, film, and creative direction, Wallace expanded her practice toward spatial and architectural inquiry. She is a graduate student in Architecture at Cranbrook Academy of Art, where her work centered on public structures, ancestral memory, photography, painting and interior design. Writing is integral to her process, functioning as both method and material used to document, theorize, and imagine alternative spatial futures rooted in place, community, and Architecture of care.
