2020

Wasserman Projects' Spring 2020 exhibitions featured Detroit-based duo, Dorota and Steve Coy's exhibition The Five Realms, expanding on the duo's well known large-scale public interventions produced under their collaborative project, Hygienic Dress League. We have curated a selection of works from their multi-room installation which led viewers on a journey though a dystopian future. Ceramic sculptures depicting fossils were displayed in a museum 10,000 years from today. Mysterious drawings studied and warned about the possible outcomes of our contemporary society, while trompe l'oeil ration cans of AIR, WATER, and FOOD were available in a minimalist luxury boutique for the privileged future shopper.
