About the Featured Artist Program
Detroit Artists Market’s (DAM) Featured Artist Program supports early-career artists through a hybrid model of exhibition and education. Redesigned in 2025, the program selects a cohort of Metro Detroit artists to participate in a year-long experience focused on both creative growth and professional development. Artists receive tailored support and coaching as they prepare a solo exhibition in DAM’s prominently placed Featured Artist Gallery—an opportunity that introduces them to gallery work and connects them with new audiences.
