ABOUT THE ARTIST
CCS Adjunct Faculty, Weaving
Sam is an artist and weaver currently living and working in Detroit, Michigan. She earned her BFA in Fiber in 2016 from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She graduated in the spring of 2021 with an MFA from the Fiber program at Cranbrook Academy of Art. Her work is featured in the New American Painting MFA edition for January 2022. She has exhibited in numerous shows around the country, most recently at Louis Buhl Gallery in Detroit, Michigan and Praxis Fiber Workshop in Cleveland Ohio.
