ABOUT THE ARTIST
CCS Executive Assistant,
Undergraduate Studies
Laura Cavanagh is a mixed media artist who lives and works in Southeast Michigan. Her favorite materials to use are soft pastels, pen and ink, and found papers. Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 2011 and has continued to pursue her artwork amidst a career as Executive Assistant to the Provost at the College for Creative Studies. Laura has participated in group and solo exhibitions around her home state, as well as in the Ann Arbor Art Fair this past summer. When not creating, Laura is usually walking the trails near her house, playing with her cat, Benji, or trying out a new NYT Cooking recipe.
