ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Deborah Walters. I am a life long art student. I got my start through Detroit Public Schools art programs and College for Creative Studies. I have always wanted to draw and create beautiful pieces of art. I have never had much success with drawing but I have found other ways to express my creativity. The latest being, Acrylic Paint Pouring and its many techniques. As a Fluid Artist I can use many different formulas to achieve many different paintings. With Acrylic Pouring no two paintings will ever be the same. There is no possible way to duplicate a painting in Acrylic Pouring (I have tried.)
Since starting my Fluid Art journey I have been so honored to be a member of The Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club and I have been asked to display my work in several different galleries and art shows.
I have had paintings displayed at: PARC Gallery in Plymouth - MI, KayRod Gallery in The Hannan Center, The Belle Isle Art Fair, Detroit - MI, Ford Gallery at WCCCD Northwest Campus, KerryTown Gallery in Ann Arbor - MI, DAM Gallery, Detroit - MI.
I am still experimenting with formulas and techniques still learning and still loving it.
